FBM Art Marble

The beginnings

The FBM started its activity in 1985.

After spending the first few years working in the furniture and building sector, the administrator realizes that those are ordinary and competitive sectors and think about the artistic sector.

After a year spent searching for possible contacts and thanks to the meeting with architect Renzo Mongiardino through his assistant Bruno Carlino, FBM Art Marble begins to deal with the true art of marble artifacts.

The growth of the 90s

In the initial phase all the projects are managed with the co-operation of Bruno Carlino and with the preparation of a studied sampling that is approved by the architect. The FBM Art Marble acquires the first job feeling that this is the right way.

Clients include Cesare Geronzi, Count Agusta, Avv. Gianni Agnelli and the Ferruzzi Group.

The company grows and specializes in ancient marbles, mosaics, fireplaces, columns, staircases, halls floors, bathrooms and swimming pools.

All the work is supervised by Renzo Mongiardino and Bruno Carlino who guide the administrator by transmitting their culture and experience, in order to be able to carry out high quality works and include important customers.

The 2000s, crisis and rebirth

The company’s growth stops abruptly on 16 January 1998, the day when the great maestro Renzo Mongiardino died in Milan.

The following two years are years of crisis for FBM Art Marble; there are a few works with only Bruno Carlino. The absence of Renzo Mongiardino has an impact on the future of the company from a human and economic point of view.

The company started growing again in 2002 and today, under the supervision of a leading architectural firm in Milan, we have dressed prestigious homes, villas and hotels all over the world with precious marble and antique marble.

Let’s create something amazing.
